My late husband enlisted in the Navy during WWII at the age of 18 and passed away in 2004. He served on the USS Cockrill as an electronic technician's mate and was briefly stationed in Pearl Harbor. He remarked that seeing the devastation of the other ships still in the base was very scary to him. I am trying to find a way to use his uniforms to help others.
